About this kit
The 5000W kit is built for riders chasing serious acceleration. A 72 V setup with an 80 A controller gives a top speed of up to 95 km/h and enough torque for steep climbs.
It needs a 150 or 170 mm rear dropout, so it suits downhill and wider frames. The motor comes in an MTX 2.35 rim, with two heavy-duty torque arms and a controller bag.
Pair it with a 72 V battery whose BMS is rated at 80 A or more, like the 72 V 30 Ah.
In the box

Battery not included. Pick one in the battery options above.

Questions
Is the battery included?
No. The kit runs on a 72 V battery, sold separately. Pick one in the battery options above and it goes in the same order.
Will it fit my bike?
This kit needs a rear dropout width of 150 or 170 mm and a 26, 27.5 or 29 inch wheel. Measure between the inside faces of the rear dropouts. Not sure? Send us a photo with a tape measure across them before you order.
Sinewave or squarewave controller?
Both cost the same. Sinewave is smoother and quieter, which is what most riders want. Squarewave is a simpler design with a more abrupt feel.
SW900 or UKC1 display?
The SW900 is a clear black-and-white screen. The UKC1 is a colour display with more on-screen info and settings.
How long does delivery take?
Orders ship within 7 days. Standard delivery is about 6 weeks, express 2–3 weeks. Kits and batteries often ship separately, so one may arrive before the other.
Can I ride it on the road?
No. Kits over 250 W aren't legal on public roads, footpaths or bike paths in most countries, including Australia, the UK and the EU. They're sold for private land, off-road and competition use.
