Refund & Warranty Policy

At Spark E-Bikes, we take pride in supplying high-quality e-bike conversion kits, batteries, and accessories built for performance and reliability. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

Refunds & Returns

We do not offer refunds or returns for change of mind, incorrect product selection, buyer error, or a change in personal circumstances. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all specifications, measurements, and compatibility are correct before purchasing.

Once an order has entered production, has been processed for shipment, or has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled or refunded. If your order has not yet been shipped, we will do our best to assist with changes where possible, however cancellation or restocking fees may apply.

Products that have been installed, used, modified, or damaged cannot be returned unless they are confirmed to have a manufacturing fault covered under warranty.

Unless otherwise stated, Spark E-Bikes products are intended for off-road, private property, or competition use only.

Warranty

Spark E-Bikes provides a 1 year warranty on batteries, hub motors, controllers, displays, throttles, and all other kit components against manufacturing defects only.

Warranty claims are valid only where the product has been installed correctly. We strongly recommend installation by a qualified e-bike technician, licensed electrician, licensed auto electrician, or experienced mechanic familiar with high-power electrical systems.

Warranty does not cover faults resulting from incorrect installation, misuse, modifications, incompatible components, accidents, normal wear and tear, or failure to follow the supplied installation instructions.

Installation & Safety

E-bike conversion kits and lithium battery systems require appropriate technical knowledge for safe installation and operation. Incorrect installation or use may result in electrical damage, component failure, reduced performance, injury, or loss of warranty coverage.

By purchasing from Spark E-Bikes, you acknowledge that you are responsible for confirming compatibility with your bicycle, ensuring the product is suitable for your intended use, arranging correct installation, and operating the product safely and in accordance with all applicable laws.

Warranty Exclusions

Warranty claims will not be accepted where damage has been caused by incorrect wiring, modified connectors or cut cables, water ingress, corrosion, burnt electrical components, short circuits, tampering or disassembly, misuse, overloading, impact or crash damage, use of incompatible batteries or controllers, failure to remove bottle cage bolts before battery installation where required, failure to correctly secure brake rotor bolts with thread locker, or failure to follow the supplied installation and safety instructions.

If a product is found not to be covered under warranty, replacement parts may still be available for purchase at the customer’s expense.

Faulty Product Claims

If you believe your product has a manufacturing fault, please contact support@sparkebikes.com.au within 48 hours of discovering the issue. Include your order number, a detailed description of the fault, and clear photos or videos showing the problem. We may also request proof of professional installation to assist with assessing your claim.

If your claim is approved, we will provide return instructions or arrange replacement parts where appropriate. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless a manufacturing defect has been confirmed.

Processing Times

Approved warranty claims are generally processed within 10 business days of receiving all required information and any returned products. Processing times may be extended due to supplier lead times, courier delays, customs clearance, or other circumstances outside our control.

Acceptance

By placing an order with Spark E-Bikes, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund & Warranty Policy together with our Terms & Conditions.
